Finding Your Voice
A Sales Training Experience by Roger Anderson
"The best salespeople I ever competed against weren't the ones with the best pitch. They were the ones who figured out how to sound like themselves when they delivered one."
Someone once told me that the difference between average and great performance is about 10%. Not a complete overhaul. Not a new product. Not a better script. Just 10%.
What if finding your authentic voice was your 10%?
The Origin
Every sales team gets the same training. The same scripts. The same product knowledge. The same objection handlers. And yet some reps consistently outperform everyone else — not because they have better information, but because they've found their authentic voice.
Your product, your price, your pitch — those are the chords. Everyone has them. None of them differentiate you. The chords are not the music. You are the music.
Beyond the Script was built to close the gap between training and the authentic human being sitting across from a prospect. It's a 90-minute immersive experience that transforms how sales professionals connect, build trust, and own their voice.
The Three Pillars
Three disciplines that separate good reps from great ones — and great reps from the ones your competitors fear.
Make Real Contact
Most reps open with features and benefits. Great performers open with genuine curiosity. Engagement isn't a technique — it's a decision to be actually present with another human being. When you tune in before you talk, everything changes.
The Bidirectional Awareness Exercise teaches reps to notice what they're broadcasting and what they're receiving — simultaneously. It's the skill behind every "natural" conversation that closes.

Earn It. Don't Claim It.
Trust isn't built by saying "I'm trustworthy." It's built by consistent, observable behavior over time. The Harmony Principle maps the three behaviors that prospects watch for — long before they consciously notice them.
Roger's personal professional standards — punctuality, honesty, and under-promise/over-deliver — aren't abstract values. They're the specific habits that compound into the kind of reputation that generates referrals without asking.
Live Exercise
Your Voice. Your Results.
The final pillar is accountability — not the corporate HR kind, but the performing-artist kind. The musician who steps to the mic owns what comes out. No blaming the room, the crowd, the set list.
The Notes-to-Songs cascade maps the journey from product knowledge to authentic performance. When reps own their voice, they stop sounding like they're delivering a presentation and start sounding like someone worth buying from.

Program Format
Beyond the Script isn't a lecture. It's an experience — built around the insight that the best sales training mirrors the best performances: high energy, audience participation, and a structure that moves from insight to action.
About Roger
Creator · Beyond the Script
Roger Anderson spent decades in sales — not studying it from a classroom, but living it in the field, managing teams, and watching what actually separates the reps who close from the reps who struggle. The answer, he found, had almost nothing to do with product knowledge.
It had everything to do with authenticity.
Roger has played acoustic folk guitar and written original songs in the tradition of 1960s singer-songwriters his entire adult life. The connection between that world — where every great performer brings something irreplaceable to a familiar song — and the world of sales was too powerful to ignore.
Beyond the Script is what happened when those two worlds finally collided: a training experience grounded in real sales experience, animated by the metaphor of musical performance, and built for the sales leaders who are tired of programs that look good in a brochure and disappear by Monday.
